J. Peter Jones
After graduating from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, Peter Jones moved back to Utah and opened up his own practice. With a background as a firefighter, EMT, and emergency management consultant, Peter is no stranger to high-pressure situations. His experience with chaotic, high-stakes environments has shaped his calm, strategic approach to complex family law issues.
Believing that nothing is more important than family, Peter has committed his practice to helping clients navigate through their own family's most significant transitions with clarity and confidence. His training in collaborative family law reflects his belief that families will always benefit from solutions focused on cooperation and resolution, while acknowledging that in highly-contentious instances litigation may be the only path forward.
Outside the office, Peter enjoys writing and spending time with his beautiful wife and children. Drawing from years of experience helping people through moments of crisis and uncertainty, he is committed to providing steady guidance and support when families need it most. He recognizes that every family has a unique story and believes that meaningful, fulfilling futures are possible, even after difficult chapters.
